A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS

Hill's Science Diet Large Breed Puppy is a grain inclusive, high quality formula. It's readily available on Chewy, and most pet stores. All of our personal dogs eat this the Adult version  and it's what we recommend to our families. 

Bernie's has made such a difference-regular and nice solid poops, reduces gas (therefore risk of bloat), and aids in digestion. It's the perfect addition during deworming, times of stress, and as a daily supplement. It's a staple in our program. We highly recommend all of our puppy buyers to purchase a bag to have on hand.

Zuke's treats are small, come in a variety of flavors, and readily available on Chewy and at local Pet Stores. We use these for all training exercises and give just one at a time. Remember you want your puppy to eat their food, so it's important not to fill them up on treats.

Fenbendazole is one of the two dewormers we use on all of our dogs and puppies here at Swiss Mountain Bernese. It is the most reliable treatment for various parasites including giardia. We use this seasonally on our dogs with great success!

Toltrazuril is a treatment for various parasites and also the most effective choice for coccidia. We use this on puppies, pregnant and lactating females, and dogs of all ages. We deworm our dogs seasonally and then as indicated.

This product can be used as early as 12 weeks, adult dogs, even pregnant and nursing moms for fleas, ticks, and heartworm prevention. Some states have significant fleas and ticks, so it's important we provide our dogs with coverage in every season. This is a monthly chewable tablet, most dogs love it, and it's very affordable on the link  below.

Our dogs are comfortable in a 48" crate. Huge I know, but it comes with a divider panel! Bigger is better. I prefer two doors for easy access. Our puppies are introduced to the crate early on and are comfortable sleeping in them overnight. Dogs are den animals and this makes them feel safe.

My dogs love these lightweight and comfortable beds. They fit perfectly in the 48" kennel and are easy to throw in the washer when they get dirty.

This leash is great for in house training, outdoor play, etc. With 15ft of slack, your puppy can participate in normal activities all while being within arms reach. 

Make potty training simple and train your puppy to use these hanging door bells. 

Bernese are a working breed and love to pull. I like this harness because the leash attaches in the front and offers more control when begin to pull. Our adults dogs  wear size XL.

These pens are so handy to have around the house. You can attach them to your dog's kennel and make a nice attached play area. 

Or they can double as a gate to keep your puppy out of certain areas of your home. I recommend the 36" fence.
